Lobster Larry Slot Machine

Lobster Larry Slot Machine – If you’re looking to get your claws into an all-action, fun-filled slot game, then, as unlikely as it sounds, you should find one run by a lobster. Fortunately, there happens to be Lucky Larry’s Lobstermania 2 slot to satisfy your crustacean slots cravings.

It’s an exciting place for a minute at TwinSpires Casino, with great sea graphics and a powerful backing track to match – “Rock Lobster” by the B-52s, of course.

This IGT game is a standard five-reel, four-row format, but comes packed with 40 paylines. And there’s a lot going on out there in the ocean.

Horseshoe Casino Setting Up The Slots

Larry is a lively little lobster who lives in a beautiful looking bay, which is the backdrop of this fast-paced game. Your job is to help Larry keep things nice and clean out there by keeping all the boats and marker buoys in order.

The lowest paying symbols are the playing cards 10, J, Q, K and A (who knew lobsters played poker – maybe the 5-card Claw?).

Higher-value symbols include appropriate nautical items such as a lighthouse, buoy and a fishing boat, along with the game’s logo and its smiling lobster hero. The Larry logo acts as a wild, replacing all others and increasing your winnings.

Like other IGT slots, you can change your bet amount and line wins represent a value multiplied by your initial bet. For example, five lighthouses pay 300 times your bet, while five boats or buoys pay 400 times your bet.

As you might expect, the big money comes from getting one of the bonus games. Look out for the game’s logo symbol, but this time with Larry wearing a rain jacket (we’re not sure why, but he looks pretty smart).

Get three of these and you can choose one of two bonuses. There is a traditional round of re-spins, which is generous but offers nothing out of the ordinary. For much more fun, choose the Buoy Bonus game.

First, you have to put your feelings for Larry and his lobster friends to one side, because it’s your job to catch as many of them as you can. Don’t dwell on what happens to them after they return to shore … and to your favorite restaurant.

Anyway, let’s get back to the game. You see a fisherman in his boat with many buoys marking his lobster pots below the surface. Choose a certain number of pots, then sit back and watch the fisherman go to work, pulling the pots into his boat and removing the lobster’s spoils (or lunch) one by one. Some are the little guys, worth a reasonable price, but others are massive, meaning a tasty boost to your account. You can win up to 4000 times your stake in this bonus game.

Another route to a big prize is by taking advantage of one of three Jackpots – the Light Trap, Full Trap or Mother Lode jackpot. These are won when a winning line of symbols lines up with the word “Jackpot” added to them. It’s that simple!

Fans of the original Lucky Larry’s Lobstermania game will love this new edition from IGT. A catchy soundtrack and a cute main character (even if we end up trying to catch him), make for an engaging place you’ll want to play, time and time again.

The game has an average RTP of 94.14%, which is not overly generous. You need to trigger the bonus game to secure a big payout or win a jackpot. But the smaller payouts are nice and regular, so casual slots players will have a lot of fun with it.

In my continuing effort to lift the veil of secrecy behind the slots, I present the following analysis of the IGT game Lucky Larry’s Lobstermania. Information about the design of this game was taken from the academic paper PAR Sheets, probabilities, and slot machine play: Implications for problem and non-problem gambling by Kevin A. Harrigan and Mike Dixon, University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.

The paper’s authors obtained par sheets for the game through the Canadian Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. I applaud the Government of Canada for this release. The purpose of this page is to further the analysis of Lobstermania beyond what was presented in Harrigan and Dixon’s paper.

It should be noted that there are other versions of Lobstermania besides this one. As far as I can tell, they differ by minor changes to the pay table and bonus round details.

Harrigan and Dixon give the symbol distribution for two cards prior to Lobstermania, one for 85.0% and the other for 96.2%. Both are shown below. Notice how the 96.2% version has more high paying symbols and that any given symbol is more evenly distributed across the 5 reels. To illustrate that the distribution is more complicated in the 85.0% version, note that the number of clams per reel in the 85.0% version is 10, 8, 3, 4, 7. At 96.2%, the distribution is 6 -6- 5-6-6. However, the number of main symbols (wild, scatter and bonus) is the same in both games.

Harrigan and Dixon do not indicate the exact coil stripping. However, as long as the scatter symbols are not close enough on the same reel to appear at the same time, the order of the symbols does not matter for this game, as well as for most video slots. The following wrap is hypothetical, based on the 85.0% version.

The way the game would work would be to pick 5 random numbers, one for each reel, and map each random number to a position on the corresponding reel. For example, for reel 1 the game would draw a number from 1 to 47. For example, suppose this number was associated with the symbol on the top row. If the random number for reel 1 were 37, then the symbols appearing on reel 1 would be an oyster on the top row, a starfish on the middle row and a boat on the bottom row.

The next table shows the Lobstermania pay table. All wins must be left lined up. The wild symbol can replace any pay line symbol.

There are 47 × 46 × 48 × 50 × 50 = 259,440,000 possible outcomes in Lobstermania. The table below shows how many of these combinations result in each possible win. These numbers are the result of a program with five overlapping rings that counted the total for each win for each possible combination.

The next table shows the probability of each possible win. This is the number of winning combinations for that win, shown in the table above, divided by the total number of combinations of 259,440,000. The total in the lower right cell reflects a hit frequency per row (probability of winning anything) of 3.25%.

The next table shows the return contribution for each possible win. Each cell is the product of the probability, from the table above, and the payoff table. The right cell shows a total return on line payments of 55.28%.

The player receives credit for a “split pay” symbol if it appears anywhere on the screen. The winnings of the distributed wages are based on the total bet amount. The table below shows the number of scatters per reel, the total symbols per reel and the probability of a scatter on that reel, which is 3×(column 2)/(column 3). The reason for multiplying by 3 is that there are three visible positions on each reel.

The following table shows the probability and return contribution for 0 to 5 total scatter symbols. The lower right cell shows that the distributed payout feature returns 10.65% in game return.

The player wins the bonus if they get the bonus symbol on reels 1, 2 and 3 on any active payline. The table below shows the chance of getting the bonus symbol on each of the first three reels. The lower right cell shows the probability of activating the bonus on each active payline is 0.06%, or 1 in 1,730. If the player plays a maximum of 15 paylines, then the probability of the bonus per spin is 0.87%, or 1 115 inches.

Lucky Larry’s Lobstermania 2

There are three possibilities for the number of lobster traps, 2, 3, and 4, each with equal probability. Thus, the expected number of traps is 3.

There are two possibilities for the number of lobsters per trap, 2 or 3, each with equal probability. Thus, the expected number of lobsters per trap is 2.5.

The price per lobster can be anywhere from 5 to 250. Each price has an associated weight, as shown in the table below. The way the game might work is that it will pick an integer from 1 to 322 and assign it a weight according to this table. The bottom right cell shows an average win of 44.02 per
