About 400 booths, many of them featuring Las Vegas companies, will be part of the expo, which runs through Thursday and will be attended by more than 26,000 people.
“This is an exciting time for the company,” said Matthew Wilson, president and managing director of slot manufacturer Aristocrat’s Americas. It is moving to a new campus in Summerlin in November with 1,100 employees. On Monday, it won several major awards as part of the fifth annual Global Gaming Awards. Aristocrat’s Game of Thrones was named the best of the year.
“G2E is when we bring all our customers from the U.S. and the U.S. and Australia and Asia to Las Vegas,” Wilson said. “It’s a very useful opportunity for us to meet with our customers and talk about our strategy and what business problems they have and to showcase all the hardware that we have in our products across the industry. Put it.”
About 300 to 400 customers from around the world will come through the booth and see more than 300 games on the floor, Wilson said. About 100 elite employees will be at the show, which Wilson says is the largest ever for the company.

“It’s hard to make a direct correlation (on sales volume) but it’s important because it’s an event that shows our customers how they think about us in their purchasing decisions,” Wilson said. Is.” “All customers come in here with an understanding of what their capital budget is going to be (for 2019), and they’re looking at how much money I’m going to allocate to different manufacturers. It’s an event. which pays dividends throughout the year.”
Aristocrat Showtimes is unveiling new slots called Billions, Motown and Mad Max: Fury Road. Las Vegas slot maker Scientific Games will unveil a series of James Bond games from the films “Die Another Day,” “GoldenEye,” “Live and Let Die” and featuring Dutch actress and Bond girl Famke Janssen. – all to gain the attention of consumers and the public, who will ultimately play the slots.
Engaged Nation, a gamified marketing company, celebrates its 10th anniversary this month and is introducing 14 new games at G2E and 40 more by the end of the year.
Games that are played online serve as digital marketing for casinos and use virtual currency as part of an effort to attract people to the properties. With sports betting expanding across the country since the U.S. Supreme Court struck down a federal ban in May, companies like Engged Nation are relying on its platform to bring casinos into sports. Speculators were helped to cultivate it even before the state was given legal status. The company has acquired Gaming Today, a gaming publication, and will combine their efforts to expand sports betting. Like Aristocrat, this will be the company’s largest booth at G2E.

“G2E is the most important show of the year for virtually anyone in the gaming industry, whether on the operator side or the vendor side,” said Jerry Epstein, CEO of Engaged Nation.
Epstein called it “a great opportunity to introduce ourselves and new products to the market,” especially since they offer sports-oriented programming this year.
“We are expecting great things from the results of this G2E,” said Epstein. “We’ve made bigger investments than ever before and feel strongly about what the return can be for us. Based on my time on the floor, many of the larger manufacturers and exhibitors are looking to take more space and invest more. Everyone is looking at the opportunity that is in front of them in terms of the return they can get on that investment.
Sports betting is a big topic taking center stage at this year’s academic conference. It features speakers like ESPN anchor Scott Van Pelt, and Engged Nation is a sponsor for his keynote address on the future of legal and regulated sports betting.

“What we understand is that more companies from around the world are going to come than ever before and it will be the biggest and best turnout in the show’s history,” Epstein said.
Engged Nation is offering a sports tutorial that casinos can use to help educate their customers on sports betting in a fun way, Epstein said. It also offers winning contests on sports and a selection of skill-based games. He said his program has already helped a casino in New York, where sports betting is not legal, develop a database.
Betting has been extended to New Jersey, Delaware, Mississippi and West Virginia. It will also start in Pennsylvania.
“Life has changed significantly from all the illegal betting that has ruled sports betting since the beginning of time,” Epstein said. “What we do know is that in a lot of cases people are going back to potentially illegal because they get to the sports book and they’re scared and overwhelmed. Any sports bettor like that. Don’t want to feel it.”

Another Las Vegas company, JCM Global, hopes to capitalize on the new sports betting market. The company makes software for slot machines that turns them into a kiosk where a person can place sports bets without waiting in line.
This year JCM’s booth resembles a sportsbook with monitors that display games and betting odds just like your favorite casino. It sells sports books and other uses such as nightclub displays.
Tom Nieman, JCM’s vice president of global marketing, said he expects a big year for display sales in light of the expansion of sports betting. Potential customers are already prepared and investigating what they need to legitimize, he said.
“G2E brings the entire global business into one place,” said Nieman. “There’s a great efficiency in bringing your customers to you instead of having to run across the world to see them individually. Every major casino operator around the world has one on show here. There will be someone. We can sit down and show them demonstrations and show them a roadmap for future products.
G2e Showcases New Technology, Services
“We have people coming from our office in Dusseldorf, Tokyo, Osaka, Sydney, and so we have maybe 65 to 70 people,” Neiman said. “They have customers from the markets that are here at the show.” Downtown on Fremont Street in Las Vegas at Binions Casino. They have several skill-based slot machines, which allow you to play pinball or classic arcade games like Asteroids.
A video of the Cleopatra Pinball bonus game was searched on YouTube and documented and shared. It was made in 2018, so that just goes to show that these machines aren’t new.
Skill-based slot machines sound good in theory, but wonder how they might work mathematically? If a machine is mathematically programmed to pay out at 93%+, what if you have this highly skilled video game player? The answer is that the “random” part of the game will randomly get worse, so it will compensate for the skilled player’s part. Does this player cash out after doing so well in the skill-based portion, only to leave the next players in the machine to come and lose in the random slots portion of the game? Yes.
It’s not known how these games actually work, so it’s pure speculation, but it seems logical to suggest that if one player does well, future players will do worse. This way the machine can return at least a certain percentage.

I have long argued that it is unfair that tribal casinos are allowed to operate under different rules than businesses.
To be perfectly clear, I bear no ill will toward the tribes and their people and am disgusted by American history for how they have been treated, but two wrongs do not make a right. I also enjoy visiting tribal casinos and giving them my business, so full disclosure is essential.
Every time there has been legislation to allow any business to gamble, I have voted for it. However, tribes often sponsor anti-gambling ads. Of course they don’t want to allow Joe’s Bar & Grill to be able to add slot machines. Or, frankly, no company is tribal coming in and opening a competing casino.
Why Alice In Wonderland Themed Slot Machine Games Are So Popular
Competition between businesses is good for us. Alas, this is not the case in Washington state and many other states, unfortunately, where gambling is only allowed in tribal casinos.
Sure, I think they don’t technically fall under that.
