DuBOIS – People in Pennsylvania will soon have more access to games of chance, but don’t expect any video poker machines to pop up at DuBOIS any time soon. The legislation package launched by Republican legislators as a means to patch the state budget and signed by Gov. Tom Wolf will allow online gambling at truck stops and airports, but not at airports or trucks, restricting the size of people nearby.

Pennsylvania joins the likes of Nevada and Puerto Rico in allowing gambling at airports. Casinos will be able to offer tablet gaming at eight airports across the state, but Dubois Regional will not be one of them.

There aren’t many truck stops that will be able to offer gambling nearby. Under the law, a truck stop can only carry five slot machine-style game terminals if it has at least 20 commercial parking spaces available, has sold 50,000 gallons of diesel fuel, and covers at least three acres. .

Alliance Of Democrat And Republicans Could Bring Casino Gambling To Virginia

Neither the pilot at Dubois nor the Flying J in Brookville have enough room for the machines to qualify. According to the company’s website, there are only 10 locations for semi-trucks each.

However, the Travel Center of America station in Brookville may also collect the bill. It is much larger than the other two stations, with over 200 truck spaces, and an arcade space according to the TA website.

However, there is no word on whether any of that space could be used for games of chance. But my favorites are some of the pictures taken in Las Vegas.

I don’t know the story behind these pictures, but I have a few questions. For example, why are Richard Gerardi and David Plaza the only ones hanging out at slot machines at 9 a.m. (local time) instead of watching Barack Obama’s historic inauguration speech from somewhere—you know, like in a hotel room, or A bar, or a giant Las Vegas Jumbotron.

Illinois Stands To Benefit From Legalizing Online Gaming

Instead of going somewhere where they were actually saying Obama, the two put constant dings and sirens in the slot pits to see half the opportunity on a monitor conveniently placed above them. Are Planet Hollywood slot machines really that great?

Check out some similar pictures of people watching Obama’s inauguration. Note that in Chicago they cry and cheer. In Miami, men in Obama T-shirts gather around an old television. Even a party in Seoul had trouble finding Obama’s mutilated shape. But in Vegas? Well I guess slot machines win.
