Under event, Jingoli refers to the Las Vegas Global Gambling Expo. Here, Konami will reveal “thrilling scenes, sounds, and characters.” Wait a minute. A gambling exhibition? Yes. And now, we’re going to take a deep breath and say: The new Silent Hill game is a slot machine. It is called

A New Silent Hill Game Is Finally Being Made, But It’s A Slot Machine Much To Many Fans’ Dismay

Konami pulled something similar to Silent Hill about four years ago: they unveiled a pachinko machine, a popular machine in Japan, using Silent Hill content (the same time Silent Hills was effectively shot behind Konami’s archives, as Hideo Kojima was leaving the company. ). Konami is comfortable with pachinkos because they get a ton of cash from them, and it’s not the first time they do something similar: they also made Metal Gear Solid 3 pachinko with FOX machines…

With rumors of Sony rebooting the Silent Hill series (see dedicated thread), I thought it might be of interest to take a closer look at the new Silent Hill games from Konami (Konami Gaming, Inc.) – Silent Hill: Escape & Silent Hill: Return.

Konami Reveals New Silent Hill Game That Will Disappoint Fans

Silent Hill: Escape is directed by Murphy Pendleton, the protagonist of Silent Hill: Downpour, while Silent Hill: Return is directed by Heather Mason from Silent Hill 3. The main antagonist, in both Escape and Return, appears to be the Bogeyman from. Silent Hill: Rain. There are other monsters introduced as well, such as the Weeping Bat (also from Downpour) and the Screamer (?) as seen in the trailer(s).

These games were supposed to be shown and demoed at the National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA) Exhibition & Convention in San Diego on March 26 – 27, 2020. However, the event has been postponed, so I don’t know much about the presence of Silent. Hill: Escape and Silent Hill: The Return. Konami currently only lists Aboard Piggy Pennies and All Aboard Dynamite Dash. I expect these titles to be available sometime in 2020, but more depends on how the COVID-19 situation progresses.

This is why people should be excited about Sony’s possible involvement in the franchise. This is what happens when Konami takes charge.

Can’t tell if it was intentional or not, but how many people clicked on this thread expecting something very different.

Area Casinos Back In Business

Is this a slot machine or slot game? I don’t think they will bother marketing slot machines in America.

This is why horror fans with no personal grudge against Sony should be excited about their possible involvement in the series.

You know what you’re doing! List of two Silent Hill games in the thread topic… you evil!

Were Never Getting A New Silent Hill (heres Why)

Clive said: Sony is rumored to be developing it. With the participation of Sony: the game. Without it: no game. Who likes no games? I’m really struggling to come up with a good reason other than not liking Sony or horror. Did you protest when Nintendo funded Bayonetta 2 too? Sony is going to surpass what Ninty did as well, if rumors are to be believed. They are using their internal resources to develop and bring back Silent Hill. Click to expand… Click to collapse…

I did not protest anything. If sony pays for it and the new game is good for sony and playstation users. I’m not the only one, so I’m not excited about what I haven’t played. That’s it. You are putting on more weight than anyone should.

If Konami had existed a few hundred years ago, they would have made a pachinko machine out of the Mona Lisa and the statue of David.

Why would Konami sell their IP when they can milk them like this? I hate what they are doing to these brands, but as a business it doesn’t make sense to get rid of them.

People are going to throw a tantrum about the fact that Sony is moving mountains to try to revive the IP, but not get it into every platform. We will see more and more heated threads about how Sony is Satan for not putting SIE games published and developed on all platforms, then it will all explode after a week.

You’re 100% right, and I can’t understand how someone can be so bitter that they want a potential game that doesn’t exist at all, instead of just one platform, but oh well. It is their loss.

Which Gambling Games Have The Best/worst Odds?

As a fan of Silent Hill since the beginning, the prospect of having Toyama, Ito and Yamaoka working on the franchise is fan territory. Fingers crossed the rumor becomes reality.
